Default Cheers for Virginia

Hello! Name is Joe, thinking about picking up a volvo here shortly. More interested in the stationwagons then anything else. Currently looking at a 1995 Volvo 850 non turbo, only issue is the radiator has a crack in it.

I joined this forum to look at more information about these cars as I have had nothing but fords my whole life, and I want to dabble in the volvo family and see if I like them or not.

Look forward to gathering info and sharing stories/woes of my future volvo

Cheers,
Joe

I am a proud new owner of a 95 850 na wagon. Had a bit of an issue getting her home. It has a small hole in the radiator and would lose the water i put in it in about 5-10 mins of driving *didnt help with the huge storm causing so much traffic the next day due to power outages* So we stopped off every few minutes at gas stations and filled her back up with water.

Made it home with no overheating.

I'm in the process of looking up parts for the radiator replacement. I plan on doing a solid write-up with pictures and hopefully will have everything by wednesday to do the replacement.

I'm having a hell of a time locating the gaskets for the tranny cooler lines. Anyone have any leads as to where I could locate these?

Also, as I'm new to the Volvo scene, any major part distributors that you know that are valued over the local parts stores would be greatly appreciated.

I'm excited
