I hope it's ok to state my question here. I have looked through the forum to try to find a thread or question about the Coolant expansion tank cap. I can't seem to get the cap off! No matter how hard I try, it just won't come off. A member had the same problem and he said he replaced the cap but he either broke it when trying to remove it or it was already broke. Is there some trick to it???? It's a 2012 S-80. Any help would be appreciated. I only need to top it off. Thanks!

 

The caps can be difficult sometimes - simply use your slip jaw pliers to apply more force (lefty loosy, righty tighty). And possibly replace the cap and or coolant bottle.

If it is low - you have a leak, it's a closed system and only goes down when there is a leak.
