all right, all the guys when i was in high school drove cameros, firebirds, or trucks... that was the "cool" think to want and drive.

i had a vw rabbit... loved it to pieces, but my dream ride was a volvo. always loved the look of em.

night before last, an add on kijiji popped up for an 88 780 betrone. had to have it... sold my civic immediately to get together enought cash to make the deal.

well, took the seller a day to get back to me, but the wait was worth it.

perfect rust free body. smooth running engine, drove like a dream.

interior tired, leather cracked on the seats, dirty, dash pad cracked, factory stereo removed and a cheapo silver faces cd player jammed in to the hole, but the price was right.

was all fun and games until i tried to price out a new windsheild for it... none available period through the local shops. nothing available used, nothing available from supplyers... crap.

my mechanic tells me he would certify it even with the crack, but it would drive me nuts.

one windsheild in stock... crossing my fingers it arrives in one piece.
