Finally a Grown Up Car!
Hey guys,
I figured I would do the decent thing and make an intro thread.
Just picked up a 2001 S60 2.4T for my wife as her new(ish) daily as we are selling her 2012 Kia Sorento. I have worked on a decent number of Volvos but I am not a guru by any means. Mostly have just done stock motor for motor swaps.
I couldnt pass up the deal I got on this car for the condition. I paid $2500 cash for the car and it has just below 99,500 miles. It has a few issues but the thing drives GREAT. My wife loves this thing a lot more than her Sorento (dont get me wrong, the Sorento is a great car).
My wife, just like me, likes to tastefully mod cars and make them a bit faster. I was looking into the 16t turbo upgrade with the catless dp and a flash.
What are some of the other "beginner" mods for this car? Keep in mind this is her daily and it needs to be reliable. Also, should add that the timing belt was done by Volvo at 69,000 miles and I have a large number of the service records.

Thanks!
Austin Webb
