This week I bought a 97’ 960 Wagon sight unseen. It was parked with a head gasket issue and that doesn’t bother me one bit. Once I get it inside and give it a top to bottom check over then I’ll plot a course of action. I liked the car because except for a rear taillight lens everything is intact, panels are straight with no visible rust. The interior looks outstanding and that was the clincher for me. If the head gasket is the only engine issue I’ll fix that and be done with it but if the problem extends into the engine and autobox then I’ll go directly to an LS engine and a manual gearbox. I have some experience doing that.
