Hello, my name is Tommy Guidry am I'm new to this site.. I joined in hopes to help figure out what's wrong with my fiance car.. hope you guys can help me out, im looking forward to chatting with yall an gain some volvo knowledge as to if never messed with a volvo an turbos.. i do have the basic basic mechanical skills to work on cars.. but I'm by no means a expert mechanic.. please forgive me if I post my questions in the wrong section.. oh, and I was born and breed on the bayous of Louisiana lol

 

welcome to the forum! Best thing to do is post your questions in the most appropriate model specific board - noting model, year and mileage will help. Not a lot of special stuff in a turbo model - just some additional plumbing :-) Most issues are common to the model and the contributors can help guide you through the trouble shooting process. For example, is the check engine light (aka CEL) on? If so, step 1 is to get the fault codes read. Step 2, do a visual/aural inspection. Any odd noises? Any of the vacuum lines off or tears in a rubber boot?
