Just picked up a 98 S70 GLT and a 01 S80 T6, love the style and grace of both cars. My S70 runs perfect with 179000 well maintained miles on her, the 01 i just picked doesnt run but i nabbed it for a G and the car is in SUPER NICE CONDITION. It is the twin turbo T6 and i cant wait to get it running. Ill post some pics tomorrow.

Welcome to VF. Looking forward to seeing the photos. What is the issue with the S80?

 

I have not had time to dig in to the S80, the guy i bought it from says his wife was driving the car and the "immobilizer" light came on and the car stalled. He brought it to a foreign car shop and they told him the timing belt broke, upon my very quick exam of the car i can see the belt is in tact but the engine cranks with no compression or so it sounds. I didnt want to crank it, but the shop that looked at it already cranked it plenty so i fugured my one or 2 revolutions couldnt do any more damage. May just plan on pulling the head, the car has 164000 on it. Gonna dig into it today and see what i can find. I figure for what i paid for the car (1000) i cant get hurt to bad because the car is in very good condition.
