Hello from Houston, TX
Hello Volvo owners,
I've been maintaining my nissan and benz for many years, but now I'm engaged, and the fiance has a S40, so I decided to jump on here and learn more about the car.
For now I'm just doing the basics, spark plugs, air filter, oil, brakes. In a few months I'd like to change the timing belt.
I'll be starting my searching here soon, but for now, if you know of a good place to order OEM floor mats, please PM me.
Best,
Mike

I just finished the work, so far I'd say:
air filter: S40 easier
spark plugs: S40 easier, benz has 16 to change!
oil change: S40 easier, benz has two pans
accessory belts: benz WAY easier, just better access I think
I like the S40, even though I dont drive it much, I thought it sounded a lot better after the tune up. Timing belt looked good, leaving that alone for now. Left strut is leaking though, so changing them and front brakes next.
