Hi,

A while back on Rennlist(Porsche forums), there was a post about how the volvo's were pretty cool cars. I always thought they were really expensive and never looked into it, but I just did and I'm diggin' the pricing.

I have a few basic questions I am asking about the cheaper ones '94 to '98:

What is a good model that can be modded easy? On Rennlist people said they were capable of some massive HP and were all around good cars.

Is a car w/ a manual transmission hard to find?

How is the reliablility? On 944 turbo's, they require a fair ammount of work. I don't really mind it, but a really reliable car would be nice

If you like rear wheel drive then go with the 940 Turbo.A buddy of mine Had a 740 turbo sedan that with minor mods and nitrous he ran 12.0 in the 1/4 mile.
If you like front wheel drive go with either an 850R or 850T5.
