Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm already a member of brickboard and turbobricks, so I figured I'd join volvoforums. I've been fascinated by Volvo's my whole life as my dad has always had one in the driveway. I grew up riding in his '79 245 and now drive a '92 240 wagon 5 spd. We are also fixing up a '65 122S as my first car. What can I say? I love Volvo's!

I'm in the market for 244 and 242 turbo's...

Welcome. Let's see some pics of the '65.

 

We're painting the whole thing with Rustoleum Gloss Sail Blue and a foam roller and paint brush haha. Then we're adding an 18 inch yellow stripe down the middle and one across the front starting by the front mudflaps and going up by the windshield, then down the other side. Basically, it's going to be one big Swedish flag. We're putting a B20 in bored .010 over and hopefully finding a J-type overdrive M41 soon.
