Just want to say a little Hello to everyone, my name is James unfortuantly I do not own a Volvo. I am currently in the middle of an engine conversion and am using a few Volvo parts from the T5 and 440 models.

The conversion is a 1990 phase 2 Renault 5 GT Turbo that I have removed the original turbo charged C1J push rod engine and replaced it with a newer Renault engine from the clio sport 182 (F4r engine) but to do the conversion it has been a mix of parts from various Renaults and a few different Volvo models that use the same engine as a pariticular 1.7 SOHC engine i.e the volvo 440 1.7 and the Renault 5 1.7 GTX.

C1J Engine tuned to 239bhp (VNT Turbo)

F4r engine from clio 182 (172bhp) Future plans are to turbo it with a T3 turbo.
