Hi!
I jumped right on to tech in this forum and I didn't properly introduced myself.
I bought a 1988 240 DL a couple of weeks ago and I'm loving it.
Here's a Facebook link to my album:

Everything thus far has been easy to work on. Timing belt left me thinking I forgot something that's how easy it was. After working on timing belts in other cars I'll have to say this was the easiest one yet.
I also love how there's a trap door over the gas tank for acess to the tank fuel pump. I've only seen Ford do this to some of their cars. Why every vehicle doesn't do this I'm at a loss.
So right now I'm working on getting overdrive to work. Later plans call for a new windshield, heater fan (that looks like fun!) Left door handle, getting my power windows to work (Only my left front works well) and compund out my paint job.
And it passed Colorado emissions with flying colors!
Best 600 dollars I've ever spent.
