Default Hi

Just found this forum. We are first time Volvo owners. Picked up our new 2016 XC90 last weekend. So far so good. Over 1k miles already viewing New England foliage from NH to CT (We live in MA). First SUV/Crossover too. We do a lot of miles (typically 20K per year) and we needed something more comfortable, and supportive for long trip. The history of Volvo's orthopedically designed seats and upright seating had us look at Volvo. Thought we might go for the XC60, looked at it and the xc70 and xc90 back in early July and eventually started working with my dealer in August to locate/order one. He was able to find one that closely matched what we wanted and was able to work a deal with the dealer it was headed to.

We got the inscription pretty much loaded with the safety, convenience, climate and audio, with heads up display. Did not get the air suspension. More than 2x what we have ever paid for a car. But we do plan to keep it for a very long time. Of course at 20K per year, that would be 200k in 10 years...

So far we love it. 1 minor issue, the satellite radio at startup, often lists some stations as not available. Next time they are back, and maybe all are there, next time some others may be gone. I assume it's the Sirius/Xm module (if it has one), since everything else seems to be working fine. Having it checked out this week.
