You'd be hard pressed to find someone willing to pay more for the car. I could be wrong. The problem is, I consider myself a Volvo addic and have not heard of that limited edition series. The yellow 850 wagons were limited to 35 for the us, they have the super rare color that can be spotted from 300 yards away and they have several 1st for Volvo. The car in your photo would have went by me with no notice of it being special.

If you have super low miles, showroom floor condition, and market it in the right places, you may get 10% over NADA retail value. Did the car cost more out the door?

Here in NZ there have been over the years, Anniversary Special Edition offers by several different manufacturers for specific models.
They have been a manufacturer sales promotion really and have usually added a number of luxury extras and aftermarket styling trim at a limited special 'all included' price.
Cars available were restricted to a set number, country wide, individually numbered and usually badged also.
They sometimes occur when a particular model is near due for a 'runout' and a new replacement model is due to be announced.
