Hey.....my name is carl, and im the owner of a 1993 Volvo 850 GLT. In about 1 week, i will have owned it for 4 full years. Since then, i've put about 75,000 miles on my car, and it has managed to hold up pretty well, minus the transmission replacement (i've heard 1st generation 850's-1992/1993 have trannies that are doomed to failure.) Well, after a new tranny, careful maintenance of the tranny, and a few other mods, i have to say my car is is great shape, inside and out.
