Hi Volvo-ists
My first post,
Purchase a 1990 740 turbo last summer. It is a solid car with typical minor electrical issues. I joined this sight to get help and answers.
First of all I will perform all the repairs myself hopefully.
Issues are:
1. Rpm gauge not working.
2. Gas gauge not working.
3. Windshield intermittent not working. (Also have to manually stop the blades at the right time)
4. Slight vibration under the vehicle when accelerating, especially when carrying a heavy load. Tranny mounts?
5. RH rear break light not working. Changed bulbs, swapped circuit panel and I believe the rear light assy circuit panel is shorted.
Other then the mentioned above, that dam car is great. I love it.
