just joined today.. having bought a S40 yesterday 😎
forgotten just how good these Volvos are after an absence of some 35 years…….🥴
mine needs a bit of work to get it back to scratch but that’s part of the fun isn’t it?




be great if I could find the original specifications, it has (I think) climate control, cruise control but I’d like to find out the full original specs if possible.
I’ve searched the internet and found plenty of so called VIN decoders, but none of them give me what I would call the Build Sheet specs.
anyway looking forward to bringing the car back and interacting with you peps …

In addition to the VIN plate on the car, there is also product plate. That's where you find details like your paint's color code :-) Google and you should find some info from that as well. A friendly dealer may help on the build details. Here's one link to get you started:

PS, been binging on "Welcome to Wrexham". Good way to learn a bit about Wales :-)
