Default Hola from SoCal

Hi all. My wife and I recently picked up a 2006 XC90. Already pulled a family road trip in it to watch the Tour of California. Fun car!

Too bad some crazy woman crashed into it and bent the axle -- among other things -- a week ago.

Thanks! Yeah, it was a bummer as the car we had just gotten rid of was a 1999 VW passat 1.8t. The turbo, cat and tranny all imploded on Christmas morning, in the rain, on the way to the airport to catch a flight. We figured we were done with car troubles for a while after picking up the Volvo -- guess we though wrong! HAH!

Default Hola

Welcome to the forum.

The XC90s have known problems, but the major one, the GM-built tranny, was not available for the 2006 models unless I'm wrong.

Check out the recalls and take every advantage of it
