I'm 18 years old and just purchased a 1988 Volvo 240DL. I was originally driving my mom's old car (1994 Ford Taurus LX) but I really wanted something I could work with and put some TLC into. As for the car, I'll get some pictures and post them. (Hopefully tonight). My Volvo needs lots of TLC. I've spent a few hundred dollars getting window switches replaced, door handles replaced, and cleaning the interior. Currently my back window switches broke again and my driver side door handle snapped the other night. I have a replacement in the trunk though.

Anyway, I figured I'd say hi and I look forward to posting and keeping you all updated on the progress of my 240.
