I am a new member
I am a new member and new owner of a 2005 Volvo XC90 AWD twin turbo vehicle.
Recent purchase. Prior owner had a coolant leak that was not taken care of; engine overheated and damaged.
After purchase engine replaced with all wearable parts replaced.
I am 66, retired. I travel around the US. I am based in Burbank Ca. and spend much time with a friend who resides in Las Vegas even though I do not gamble or even go to casinos.
My history is in automotive new car dealer service departments as service manager and also as the owner of a collision repair business for about 15 years. I was not a mechanic nor a body repair technician.
I just gave my prior car, a 1998 Honda CRV, to a friend; it was very dependable with only maintainence issues at times. It had 300,000 miles on it. I decided to give Volvo a shot.
