Welcome to the forum. I read on another message board one time that typing in all CAPS is like screaming. Now every time I see all caps it hurts my ears. Just kidding, sort of.
sorry, i should explain, i get this alot, i really am not screaming i am a draftsman by trade and my cap locks are on all day as we (draftsman) do not use lower case letters. i guess i am so use to it i dont even notice. thanks for the tip and i will try not to yell.
Funny, I'm a programmer and it's rare to find programs with anything but uppercase also, and I don't notice it at all in programs, but I do when reading anything else. I don't think I could read a novel, for instance, in all uppercase.
YOU KNOW I AM NOT SURE, I HAVE BEEN TOLD (OOPS) that the small letters like (a e o) kinda look the same. when i started drafting we used to use pencils and drew on paper (vellum) and i was instructed that all my printing had to be caps only. i actually have forgotten how to write (crycillic) and print everything (in caps). as far as programming goes i would guess it is for the same reason and i dont think that the computer cares if you are yelling at it or not.
