Just purchased a 1998 C70 Coupe

Hello, this is Stephen.

I just purchased and shipped a 1998 C70 Coupe to Hawaii, it's a magnificent car...but three days driving it, realized it's only getting 9.8 miles per gallon. The fuel filler door switch down on the driver's door is not working. The auxiliary pull tab in the trunk is helpful.

The site is huge! I'll figure out how to search for answers to the fuel economy problem. I know it's not normal, I had a 1998 S70 and it got 24 mpg without a turbo in suburban driving.

Email me if you have any ideas. There's no gasoline smell or leaks in the parking space. I'm a glutton for punishment, there's no dealer here....but that may be an advantage actually.
