Default keepin' it rollin'

i'm working on a 2001 Volvo s40, my work car and I blew the head gasket on it. I used Bar head gasket repair on and am back on the road. Now the solenoid is acting up. I have to try cranking 5-9 times before it turns over.
How do I reach the solenoid and is it hard to replace?

Welcome to VF. First, before you go messing with the starter, check your engine compression. The bar stuff is not a permeant fix at all and you could be lossing compression still, which would cause the issue you are having with starting the car.
