Long time listener, First time caller..... S70
Well after falling in love with the mid-90's Volvos (Specifically a yellow 850R terror, that ran around locally for a few years) I recently bit the bullet and bought a S70 for my wife to drive to and from school.. SO far I am very impressed. My perticular car has 209,000 miles which I thought was VERY VERY HIGH... but after some research it appears that the 850's and s70's (if well maintained) will run for upwards of 300,000 miles.. I was amazed that the car leaks nothing, runs and drives very well, and the interior has held up incredibly considering the age and miles..
My wife was VERY pleased with the car (her early christmas present), and now wants to trade her Xterra in on an C70.... Which would be great because then I could park the e36 for a few thousand miles and drive her 1998 S70..
AMAZINGLY, I ended up picking the car up for a measly $1600, from the original owner. He was considering trading his s70 in on a new Volvo and the dealer only offered him $1600 for the car. He refused but still bought the new volvo. He then put the car up on Craigslist for $3500. I watched the car for a few weeks, he kept dropping the price. When it hit $2500 I called him. I went and drove the car and took it to have the codes read (the dash was all lit up)... The codes were TPS and 02 sensor.. I told him I had to think about it and we parted ways..
He called me back and said that he was ready to sell... If I would give him what the dealer offered him, the car would be mine.. SO I showed up with $1600 and left with the car and the title.. Good clean southern car, well maintained.. I couldn't be happier. When my wife graduates next year I am going to start shopping for a GLT or T5... But for now this car looks great in the driveway...

They did that to us a few years ago and I had to wait 6 months for them to come back on another radio station. Try linking to this http://www.q95.com/main.html and you can listen to them online. This is their home station.
