Default Love My V's

Hi my name is Kyle. And I love My V's.
I own a, 2001 V70, and a 2002 V70.

My 2002 V70 has been traveling 230 miles every day for the past 6 years. It is treated like trash, thrashed, diven through mud every day, hasn't been washed in about seven months. All of this and my little 2001 Volvo V70 has never had one problem, sputtered, or even shown one little tiny signal that it is slowing down, or in need of any special treatment. This thing was built to last. I previousely owned a tiny 2001 Volvo V40 1.9t. That little car traveled 370 miles every day, where it had to go up mountains, veeeeeeery steep grades, and on incredibly uneven, and rocky surfaces. I recently gave it to my son to drive, because even his new Toyota Tacoma couldn't handle his daily trek. My son lives in an incredibly mountainous area, and at the very top. Every day, late at night, on his way home from work, he rushes up that very steep hill as fast as he can to get home in time to watch his shows. He says all you can hear in the car is the engine screaming, struggling, and reving constantly to try to compensate with the tremendous pressure put upon it. The engine goes like that for 20 miles at about 48 MPH until he gets to the top, which means that this engine is really beaten, and abused terribly. And sometimes at high speeds he is cornering on semi-icy roads, and his S40's traction control is always ther to back him up and put him back in the path of safety. He says that even his his V6 toyota tacoma which was five years younger than this old and already overused Volvo, gave out much sooner than this little Volvo which is equipped less than half the engine power. Volvos are built to last.
