Hi i am Henry just stumbled on this forum while looking for info on engine,a TWD 1031VE it has suddenly started smoking from the breather on the engine -white smoke- can somebody be able to let me know where to begin? This engine has been in use for the last ten years. thanks

 

Welcome, is this a Volvo engine? If it is, I have not heard of it.

Anyway, a smoking PCV hose normally means a clogged up PCV system. How many miles are on the engine.
