I love this car!

My Volvo journey began after the C70 was hit in the left rear quarter panel while being towing behind my friend's class-A motor-home. The insurance totally it and I said, I'll rebuild it, so he gave it to me. My friend was the original owner. He took good care of it, but it sat for long period of times.

This was the first automobile collision project, so I had a lot to learn. It took me a year, but the body of this sweet little car with only 67,000 miles is repaired.

I'm currently catching up on some maintenance and sitting related issues. Have replaced the radiator, electric fan, coolant hoses and clamps, PCV system; cleaned the electronic throttle body, flushed the coolant, drained and filled the transmission fluid; had the ABS module rebuilt; and will replace the coolant level sensor next week.

Something may be up with the immobilizer, because last week it would start, then die after 2 seconds. After reading up on this I changed keys and toggled lock/unlock a few times; now it starts fine.

I'm looking forward to getting to know Volvo and this car through this forum!
