Default Need Advice on Options for Volvo V70!

Hi,

I am about to purchase my first volvo, a 2010 v70. I have two great deals right now, but one thing differentiates them--the paint. One is Ice White, and one is Seashell Metallic. Other than that, the cars are identical.

Oh, except for price. The metallic one is $1000 more. My question is, is it worth it? We will be looking to sell this car in 5-6 years. I truly cannot decide what the more desirable car will be to a person looking for a used car. Thought perhaps someone here might have some insight?

I'd appreciate it, since I am really stalling. Have to decide by tomorrow!

Thanks very much!

Erin

Default Buying a volvo

I thought buying a Volvo would be a sound longterm car investment but it wasn't. I would suggest researching very carefully before buying a Volvo. Since 2007, I have had thousands of dollars in repairs.

Default Thanks, but...

I have looked at a ton of cars, all different makes and models. The reason we chose Volvo is primarily the integrated booster seats. We have three children, aged 5 and under. Getting three car seats across a back row is very, very difficult. The integrated boosters make this much easier. Also, their Safe and Sound Warranty protects us for 60 months. At that point, I think we will be ready to sell.
