Neewb saying Hi
Hi
S80 T6 owner saying hi from across the water.
Been browsing the American sites as more info on this temperamental motor available.
Just had a rebuilt transmission installed ( £1800 ) approx $3000 after the all to common
Transmission Service urgent message[:@], the damage the car does to these autoboxs in unbelievable and isnt caused by
the lock up solonoid as the codes report.
Now the car is having the turbo oil seals replaced, then all should be great.
Its a 1998 model so one of the very first done 110K miles and is converted to run on LPG.

Hello mate,
Greetings from across the water & the continent & another water.
Yes, some gearboxes on Volvos seem to be very fragile so you're not alone.
Make sure to participate in the S80 forum; people there have better knowledge than I do (I'm an 850 driver) and they'll help you better & you'll help them better.
