New 2006 V50 owner
Hi all, bought this very nice used V50 a little over a month ago. It was a one owner welll maintained car. Carfax showed the previous owner stuck to the recommended service religiously. Exterior and interior belied the 123k miles.
I replaced the moon roof sunshade fabric as it had a little water staining. I had to replace the intake cvvt sloenoid for a P0027 code. I was on a long day trip when I got a CL. I plugged in my OBD II reade and googled the code. It referred me to a Volvo forum that said it wasn't fatal and it was okay to drive with the CEL on and would probably go away after a few days. It did and ordered the part from an online Volvo OEM parts store. Easy-peasy to replace.
I'm enjoying the car very much and utilise the cargo room regularly.
Here's what I've done in the short time I've owned the car:
1. Replaced sunshade fabric
2. replaced coolant overflow reservoir and cap
3. replaced 2 door lock button bushings
3. windshield washer "t" valve
4. all 3 wiper blades
5. Geartronic shift lever 'blind'
6. polished both headlights
