New 960 owner
Hello everyone-
Just picked up a 97 960 about 30 days ago. Got it with 90K on it from an auction- dark green exterior, tan leather inside. Straight and clean, no damage or major issues. Got it for $1600, so I'm really pleased. Put a new battery and tires on it, and it's been great. Has a few of the nagging typical issues I've read about, but nothing major. Runs like a top.
Not new to working on vehicles, but new to Volvos, so looking forward to being part of the community here.

Welcome Brady. Are you planning on doing any mods? Stuff is limited on 960's but there are some things you could do. Check out the 960 forum for ideas and post some pics if you have any.

Welcome to the forum, and be sure that the timing belt (if so equipped) has been done within the last 70,000 miles or 5 years. If not done, I would do it asap.
