Welcome to the forum.

Why would you be disappointed that it is an LPT (Low Pressure Turbo)? I would be happy to have a turbo car period at age 17.

I have a turbo car now but I am 24. I started out on a 1995 850 N/A. Great car, loved it. Turbo is better though.

Also you can upgrade your exhaust system and ECU tuning to get better performance out of your LPT. You can also add a bigger turbo such as a 16T and then do the exhaust mods and ECU upgrade as well.

Thanks i dunno im really happy to have it i just wish it was a hpt. the car is awesome and its a big improvement over the bmw 318.

yea my brothers first car was a 850 turbo but it was an 89 or something. it still was a great car and pretty fast.

that was what i was thinking until i saw that the ecu upgrades are all at least 700 so i was wondering if theres a more in expensive way to do it? hah sorry for all the questions but i was thinking about running a straight pipe from the downpipe to some kind of high flow muffler, do you think that would be a good idea?

Thanks agian

Man, my first car was a $1200 '87 Prelude (at that time 11 years old) that had 100 horsepower. The AC and Heater didn't work, which sucked because I lived in NH. Hot summers and cold winters.

My first car was '87 Ford Escort, a painful lesson.

At least it wasn't a Pinto[8D].
