Hey everyone, I'm new on here and this is my first Volvo. My nephew bought the car and put over 2K into it and broke the timing belt while doing burn outs. He was basically going to scrap it and I picked it up from him.


When I was first talking to him he told me that it was a single cam and that would have been all good but when we opened the hood we found that it's got a double cam...so bent valves...


We are pulling the head to see if there is bottom end damage and I am hoping that it's all good...my luck it's probably toast.


I will take pics when I am close to the car but I hope I can find the parts to get this thing going. It's just too nice to tow to the junk yard.

What car ?? You might want to start a thread on it under it's section (850, V70, S60 ...).
