Hello everyone!

Recently bought my first Volvo ever, a 2000 V70 XC Turbo Cross Country Wagon!

I have always liked the cars but never had the cash to get one until now.
Already read a lot of posts before joining and have to say that there are so many good resources here, keep up the good work!

Yep, it's only got 77K on it too. Although two weeks after I got it the timing belt started eating through the cover , if it weren't for the case it would have thrown it so I am just saving up to get parts to replace all that stuff. Lukily my girlfriend has a friend who owns his own garage that specializes in imports so he will do the labor for 200!

200 is a great price to make sure that its done the right way. The timing on these can be touchy if you don't have the right tools. Sounds like you got really lucky though.
Timing belt and anything related was changed the night I bought mine because the guy had service records and after reading a lot of info from this forum... I knew I better change it just in case !

Will most likely be changing it every 50k just to play it safe!
