Hey Everybody, My name is John, I'm 16, from Winnetka, IL (north of Chicago) today I purchased a 1999 Volvo S80 T6, white exterior, gray leather interior. My dad has a 2002 Volvo S80 T6 which is Dark Blue with tan leather interior. I love Volvos, which is more than most 16 year olds will say when the name Volvo comes up, but my dad used to have a 1990 700 Series Turbo Wagon (either 740 or 760, dont remember). I'm looking to meet some people in the area with Volvos, and help to contribute to what looks like a great website!

PS you wont have to worry about any annoying irresponsible 16 year olds running around your forum cluttering things up posting useless stuff, I come from a hobby in which there are too many kids like that that give kids like me a bad name (I am an avid RCist)

 

Welcome to the board and hope you enjoy your S80. My daughter has the exact same car in light blue with grey interior. It's a real nice car, but is known to have some problems. We don't mind 16 year olds on the board. We were all 16 once.

 

Yeah, its a nice car. I have heard alot about problems here and there, like one I ran into with the stereo... CD player wont change CD and just reads error, like somethings getting stuck, but I dont know. Thats why the boards are here to help out. Thanks!
