Hey all,
I recently purchased this '83 DL from the original owner. It's in pretty great shape and was very well maintained.

i mainly use it to transport my bikes around on the weekeneds, or the occational drive to work.

the only issues are that there is a slight gas smell in the trunk area after rides on the highway, and I need to move the drivers seat back slightly as at 6'3" knee room is a little tight.

My wife and kids love the car.

Wow! That car looks great. How many miles?

Some of the seats had height adjustments that could be made if you took the seat apart, but not sure about rear travel.

Welcome to the forum.

thanks! It really is in great shape. It was maintained by the original owners husband . The oil was literally changed every 3k according to the meticulous logs they kept. It's got 177k on it. The only thing that doesn't work is the A/C. He said that he changed the refrigerant but then a few days later it no longer was blowing cold, so I guess there is a leak somewhere.

Also that gas smell. You can actually smell it in the car while driving it and it's giving me a bit of a head ache. i need to track that down soon.

And yes, the driver seat does has a height adjustment which helps a little, but I really need to be able to push the seat back just a few inches.
