Hello everyone. I have joined as I have inherited a 1997 850 Volvo sedan (non turbo)from my older brother. I also came across and now own a relatively rare 850 Volvo. It is also a 1997 850 but a 5 speed, turbo, AWD wagon. I do not need two cars so I have decided to sell the wagon.
The car has been ridden hard and put away wet. BUT it has good bones and has had recent repairs. The car has 328,972 km on it. Runs well, I drove it home. Rear right brake needs work and oil leak on engine.
I am asking $2500 as is for the car.
I can provide pictures, etc.
This car would make a very good T5R clone.

Default New member needs help with radio code

Hello, I just got a 1997 v40 wagon and I've been unable to unlock the radio code. Would appreciate any assistance.

? Interesting place to add your comment but -

You can get the radio code from Volvo - they have the code stored by VIN number (if it is still the original radio) or from the Serial number of the radio. Call your dealer and give them the Serial number, part number and model of the radio and they can give you the correct code. I trust you know how to change the radio from OFF to CODE.
