Just wanted to introduce myself as someone who is looking to breathe some new life into a 1985 740 GLE that i recently purchased.

My friend has a 1989 760 Turbo that i liked, and i piqued my interest in volvos.

I am trying to sort of "restore" this one, and get it rolling right.

Its in pretty decent shape now, and runs great. (only 79k miles on it...)

just some interior and exterior work is needed (some sun damage to the interior, and a slight ding on the left rear quarter panel...)

so, some things i am planning, are to get the minor ghosts worked out of the electrical system, get some body work done...(possibly do it myself...if i feel like devoting that much time...), and reworking the interior.

I figured i should join into a forum like this, so that i can get information/help from people who know whats going on. and maybe, through my experiences, i can help contribute to someone else who might be doing something like me.

so, hopefully, i can become a contributing member of this forum, and get some real help with things i cant figure out.
