Hoping to spend some time in VA with friends some time this year - hoping for sensible long-haul fares first! Last time we were there (Easter 2002) we drove up into the Blue Ridge Mountains from Richmond, but the clouds came down so we couldn't see that much of the beautiful scenery - just some lovely bits between gaps in the cloud.
