Greetings from San Antonio. Volvo experience: Bought used 80 4dr 244 with 30K miles and put another 170K on it before maintenance became too expensive. Bought a beautiful Dark Green 760 used (first model year). Looked great but had every bug you could think of. Sold it when I was assigned overseas. Bought a new 94 240 wagon (last year of 240s). Have 130 K on it and running strong. Turns out the San Antonio Volvo dealer has no mechanics experienced on 240s. Had to find an after-market mechanic to keep it running. Joined primarily to find answers to water temp gauge intermittantly going almost to red when wate tem is still good.
