Hi all
I'm new here. I'm Portuguese, so please forgive my English.
I'm thinking of buying a Swedish car, namely Volvo or Saab, and already saw one of each.
I think my choice is going to be a Volvo S40 T4.
I'm 33, married, and a fan of big square Volvos, but my better half doesn't really like then as much, so the compromise was/is the semi-square Volvo S40.
My car history is small. My first was BMW 1502 from 1977 (older then me). Biggest mistake ever
Second car was an Alfa Romeo 33 1.5ie. Had some issues, but over all, pretty nice and relatively fast.
Third car and last (so far) is a Citroen Xantia 2.1TD (fully loaded). Very nice. I like it a lot.
Motorcycle History:
1 - Yamaha DT 50 LC
2 - Yamaha XTZ 750 Super Ténéré
3 - Honda CB 600F Hornet
4 - Honda CBR 600RR
5 - Suzuki SV 1000N
6 - Yamaha FZS 1000 Fazer
Sorry for the long intro
Best regards,
Daniel

Welcome to the Forum.
You may not have a long history in cars, but you definitely have it in motorcycles. I know you called the S40 a compromise, but I think it is a great car and you will be just has happy with it as you would have been with an older RWD one.

Welcome, and nice bikes. Having previously bought new cars when they ran low on the first tank of gas, Volvo's have the best seats in the industry. And in general for volvos the the first tank of gas lasts longer than most.
