Hello all. I am a new member and have just aquired a 1982 240 station wagon with a D24 diesel. This car has been in my wifes family for many years, and I fell in love with it the first time I laid eyes on it. My sister-n-law drove it for several years, then upgraded or downgraded to a Chevy, LOL. It has sat on my father-n-laws property for 5 years, only being started to kinda keep it lubed up, but not moving very far. Just recently he gave me the car!!! So on 1 July 2012, new shoes were thrown on her, her tank was topped off with diesel and she embarked on a 300 mile road trip to my house. Its amazing that after sitting for several years she made the trip with NO PROBLEMS!!!

I plan on being active in this forum and will be posting photos of my "Blue Brick" soon. Thanks for allowing me to be part of this forum family and I look forward to talking to all you guys.
