Hello all,
After being a honda owner for a decade decided I needed something different. So I bought a volvo and it is a 2000 v40, I dislike volvo sedans so it's a wagon or no volvo at all. I hear volvo offers good reliability but part are expensive!, and more expensive if you take it to a dealer. Anyway, I hope people on this forum are well behaved because i'm coming from honda-tech, and people there can be dicks. Nice to be a member and I hope this car is a good investment!

thanks, I'll post pics soon.
The car looks has 148K and look good out and inside, but there some issues. Such as a check engine code-p0420 & p0455. Today I replaced the passenger side axle (it was bad) and it was very surprisingly easy to do, unlike my accord. Also brakes are SUPER EASY unlike my 95 accord!. Also found an oil leak around the turbo, I hope i can fix and keep moving. There is also a oil leak near the timing belt, and I need to investigate the issue.
Lastly I am trying to get rid of this vibration when I am on the highway. This was why I replaced the passenger side axle(yes axle was defective); yet the vibration remains. I will balance tires and check other suspension components. There's also some interior light on the spedo that are only half lit
As for the issues I posted I've been doing the research, so I have the heads up on many of the problems. I just wish volvo had a straight forward repair manual (i'm not talking about haynes). I have the vida but i'm still learning my way around it. So I got one of fords first run car, huh?
