Hi, Not quite sure how this works but here goes. Own a volvo 940 celebration 2.3t 1988. Bought bypass plate from US and fitted. 4th gear now engaging but the old solenoid had an additional cable about 9 inches long which went to a sensor of some kind. Need to what this sensor does and how relevent to auto operation. Would greatly appreciate any help the forum cam offer.
