Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum, and new to Volvo's. I currently own two VW TDI cars.
I've posted over in the 240 forum regarding a prospective purchase of an '84 240D wagon. Any advice for this situation is greatly aprpeciated in advance, and I hope that I can possibly eventually reciprocate.
Cheers,
Phil

Hi Phil,
Greetings from freezing Chicagoland.
As I drive 850, I am not familiar with 240. I believe those on the 240 forum can assist you with purchase & technical questions.
Be sure to have a technician (Volvo or shops that specialise in Swedish/European cars) do inspection before purchasing a Volvo. For this, a $100 plus is well worth it, as it'll keep you from getting a catastrophic "lemon".
Welcome!
