New member - ABS & STC issue
Good morning! I am long time Volvo owner - I am currently driving my 4th Volvo, a 1999 S70 T5 of which I am the original owner. I have previously owned a 240 Turbo, a 940 Turbo wagon and a 360 (a 2.0L right hand drive hatchback I drove around the UK).
My S70 has 220,000 miles on it and still going strong, except for an ABS / STC light issue. These lights are now coming on more frequently and affecting the shifting - the S70 is a manual. I have read a lot about sending the ABS unit off to get repaired, but am looking for ideas and suggestions. I will post this in this correct section.
Attached is a pic of my S70 and also the 360 for folks who may not have ever seen one...
