Default New member here!!

Hi.. So I'm a new member, and truly excited to be here. I am hoping to get some help and learn everything new I can about our new car. So a little back story we just bought a 98 s70 glt with just a little over 122,000 miles on it. I know great deal huh? She is amazing condition some cosmetic issues but those can easily fixed The only bad part is that the car had been sitting for over a year without being started, very low gas in it just sitting in the yard. So to be expected it has some issues, but we are trying our best to work through them. I am hoping that now that I am here I can get some help with some issues we are currently experiencing before having to spend a arm and leg in repairs or parts that may not be necessary. I look forward to talking with everyone soon. Thank you for allowing me to join

welcome aboard. Note that gas can go stale (and turn to varnish over long periods of time) so you may want to consider draining the tank before attempting a restart. I'd also pull out the fuel pump relay when doing the first crank to give the engine some reps to build up oil on the rings and upper sections. Battery is probably drained so you'll want to charge it or give it a jump to start. Good luck, its a great model to work on and keep running.
