Default New member questions about '98 S90

So my recently purchased 1998 S90 has a few issues. Some I will have taken care of soon but others I might try to repair myself. I have the P0410 code which I'll have a mechanic look at and also repair the parking brake. Now I have some questions about interior lights.. First I notice that there are no lights behind the sift lever indicator. The little red light is there to show the shifter position, but in the dark it's impossible to see the positions. Cant see where park, neutral, reverse, drive or any other position are. Any idea how to fix this? Also, I notice that the lights behind the temperature control for the AC/Heat are not working. And finally, about half of the radio buttons are dark (about the entire right half of the radio, are these replaceable lightbulbs?
Thanks for any help to a fellow Volvo owner.

There are small bulbs behind each that are generally available through the dealer. I've not had many of those to replace over the years and rather than try someone that "looks" right, I just get the right bulb.

The P0410 is a code for reduced catalyst efficiency. On a car of your age, you probably need a catalytic converter.

Thanks, I guess I'll need to find instructions on how to get to the bulbs to change them. According to the technicians the code is related to the secondary air injection pump. One Volvo specialist advised me that he can clear the code and I can go to the emissions test and pass it as these cars are exempt from "readiness". I've also read that there are a couple of work arounds to the issue including a modification to the ECU to by pass the code or a replacement for the defective pump with a cheaper but functional VW pump.
