What model years are you interested in and what's your budget?

 

Thanks for the reply. One of the things I'm researching is whether there are any model years to avoid. I looked at a 2006 that was for sale for $3,300, and I was leery because it had an undiagnosed CEL. I care more about condition than the vehicle's age or mileage, though here, too, I'm looking for some collected wisdom.

 

The 01-07 xc70s have a list of common problems - IMHO the 08-15.5 xc70 with the FoMoCo inline 6 and more reliable transmission is a better choice.
