Just joined you guys, and have been doing some forum reading. I just bought a 1994 Volvo 850 for $500.00 bucks. The owner says he went to put gas in it and then it just wouldn't start. So he sold it to me. We can get it to turn over and it wants to start but hesitates. I told this story to the local Volvo mechanics. We both think it's the fuel pump. He showed me where to bang on the gas tank, and where to check for the fuel pump relay fuse. I'm betting I can fix it. Any other input on this topic would be great. No turbo on this model. Marvin.
